The Challenge

Mons Royale needed more timely, automated, and accessible reporting on stock, sales, and retail performance. Their current reporting processes couldn’t scale with their growth plans, as it relied heavily on Excel spreadsheets and a single staff member. This created bottlenecks, limited business continuity, and left decision-makers with outdated, static data.

Data residing in multiple systems made it difficult to track inventory, understand customer behaviour, and compare performance across regions and seasons. Mons Royale required both a modern data platform to unify disparate systems and a BI solution to visualise and explore insights.

AZURE DATA PLATFORM FOUNDATION

We built an Azure based data warehouse using Data Factory and SQL Database to integrate NetSuite, Bellwether, and other sources into a single source of truth. It now enables seasonal comparisons, margin and COGS analysis, stock-on-hand snapshotting, and flexible grouping across regions and product ranges.


POWER BI REPORTING

We designed interactive reports and dashboards with filtering, drilldowns, and bookmarks. Reports include product images alongside SKUs, allowing staff to explore sales, inventory, and customer behaviour across time periods, channels, and geographies.


SALES & STOCK ANALYSIS

Provides product level insights across channels and regions, including new and returning customers, retailer segmentation, top seller analysis, stock on hand and stock movement.


ECOMMERCE & RETAIL PERFORMANCE

Enables custom reporting across online and store sales, providing faster monitoring and agility in response to market changes.


ENHANCED VISUALISATION & SELF SERVICE

Empowers staff to answer their own questions, reducing reliance on manual processes and freeing time for higher value work. Date ranges (financial years and seasons) are dynamic and reports update automatically.
